The USIP required a mass alert capability to notify all USIP staff of any type of emergency or event that could affect the institute utilizing a variety of alert types. Alerts will be sent to the desktops, SMS devices, phones and email. Multiple devices and operating system such as, Apple Mac, Microsoft, Android, iPhone and Blackberry are supported. Additionally, targeted group alerting was achieved through Active Directory (AD) Integration which is a standard component of a Desktop Alert implementation.
