Companies House data for March 2012 shows a record 93 new companies were registered in Bath. This figures smashes the previous best of 87 companies achieved in both September 2003 and March 2006.
Of the 93 new companies registered, 91 are regular Limited companies, 1 is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and 1 Right To Manage company.
In the Somerset area, where a total of 422 new companies were registered in March 2012, Bath was the most popular area, followed by Taunton with 61 new companies and Weston Super Mare with 53.
