Aquatic is expanding its popular Builders’ Choice collection with the introduction of Starla, an acrylic, drop-in, hydrotherapy tub that fits within standard 60” bathing alcoves. Aquatic developed Starla to provide builders with a luxury upgrade option that doesn’t require any alteration to a small bathroom’s footprint. At 57” x 38” x 24”, Starla is Aquatic’s smallest, oval hydrotherapy tub in terms of overall width, but it has been meticulously designed to provide as much bathing well space and luxury as the industry standard 60” x 42” master tub.

For both new construction and renovation, Starla is the perfect upgrade option for the industry standard master bathroom with a side-by-side bath/shower configuration.

Aquatic put a tremendous amount of thought, prototyping and testing into Starla to create a small footprint, whirlpool tub that satisfies the needs of both builders and users.

Aquatic – the world leader in innovative and inspirational bathware – today announced expansion of its popular Builders’ Choice collection with the introduction of Starla, an acrylic, drop-in, hydrotherapy tub that fits within standard 60” bathing alcoves.

Today’s more value-conscious and practical consumers want homes that are “right-sized” for their families. Builders are responding by offering smaller, more affordable housing to attract buyers and be more competitive. Consequently, bathrooms are shrinking in size. For both new construction and renovation, Starla is the perfect upgrade option for the industry standard master bathroom with a side-by-side bath/shower configuration.

Available as a soaker or whirlpool, Starla comes with all the standard features and functionality of the Builders’ Choice series. Eight strategically placed, adjustable, whirlpool jets target the bather’s hips, legs, back and feet. The bathing well features sculpted armrests, an oversized backrest and raised headrest. Starla also has a slip-resistant floor, which is a safety feature on all Aquatic Builders’ Choice tubs. Engineering and quality construction eliminate water retention in the plumbing system, optimize performance and reduce potential service points.

“Aquatic put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into Starla to create a tub that satisfies the needs of both builders and users,” said Phil Reyes, Aquatic’s Product Manager of Hydrotherapy. “We placed the armrests for optimal comfort, with attention to the perfect height and angle for bathers who like to read while they soak. The expansive backrest and raised headrest maximize the space within the bath so it feels large to the user, despite its small footprint. The final product is the result of extensive prototyping and testing with real users of all sizes.”

The Builders’ Choice series, part of Aquatic’s renowned Hydrotherapy line, is a favorite among builders and consumers who want beautiful, feature-rich hydrotherapy tubs at a great value. The Builders’ Choice series recently underwent a refreshing that modernized its aesthetic features, and infused the series with enhanced hydrotherapy features.
