    While PinPoint displays vital information which a doctor can use to make key decisions, the software also allows for more efficient day-to-day operations of a practice. When PinPoint is opened in a browser, a dashboard displays a selection of essential, real-time information including new patients trends, production dollars, collection dollars and a two-year trend graph of revenue and expenses.

    The PinPoint software contains a number of tools and functions that are invaluable to any practice. The statistical reporting tool mines practice data to display patient absentee rates and the percentage of prospects converted to patients. A mapping service will generate a custom map with icons notating patient homes allowing doctors to obtain a clear visual understanding of where their business is coming from and where untapped markets may be found.

    The financial reporting tool makes it easy to compare one period’s financial data with another period. The user can extract custom reports comparing entire years, first quarters, or any time periods that might be helpful to the doctor. The tool can also drill down into detailed metrics of financial performance such as expense-as-percent-of-revenue. PinPoint also stores detailed images of invoices paid by the practice. If a practice has more than one location, the financial reporting solution allows doctors to compare the financial performance of each office. The software even features regional reporting tools.
