Ashburn, VA (PRWEB) April 17, 2012
Intelligent Decisions (ID), Inc., a premier global IT systems integrator, announced today that it will host Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday, April 18th, as the Wizards take on the Milwaukee Bucks at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. This is the third year in a row that ID has sponsored the event, which is designed to recognize the tremendous sacrifices that members of our armed forces, and their families, make on a daily basis. Tipoff for the game is at 7 p.m.
A few of the festivities include a pre-game joint services enlistment ceremony, the ID Military Cam honoring all Military in attendance at the game, and a joint services Color Guard will present the colors during the National Anthem performed by the U.S. Army Chorus. In addition, the U.S. Army Silent Drill Team will perform at halftime.
ID is also participating in the Washington Wizards Career Fair on the same day from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Verizon Center. The career fair will feature a variety of companies and agencies with job opportunities throughout the DC area. The career fair is targeted to military veterans and active duty personnel interested in finding employment. Thousands of current and former military personnel are expected to attend. However, access to the career fair is open to anyone that is interested in attending.
"Intelligent Decisions is proud to sponsor Military Appreciation Night and the Washington Wizards Career Fair at the Verizon Center – honoring the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who so bravely, and selflessly, protect our freedom,” said Harry Martin, ID president and CEO.
“Hosting these events for our active duty military and veterans is one small way that we can show our genuine appreciation for their sacrifices, as well as the sacrifices of their families,” added Martin.
The first 1,000 fans to purchase tickets through a special promotional offer will receive a free camouflage t-shirt courtesy of ID and the Wizards:
