AERC Recycling Solutions Offers Options for Electronics Recycling on Earth Day

At AERC, Every Day is Earth Day - Individuals and Small Businesses can Recycle End-of-Life Electronics by Participating in AERC’s Collection Events or Drop Off Friday Program All Year Round

This year, Earth Day falls on April 22. As one of the largest electronics recyclers in the country, AERC.com, Inc. (AERC Recycling Solutions) would like to remind its local communities about the various options it offers for getting rid of old electronics all year round.    

---Electronic Recycling Collection Events
Individuals and small business owners may participate in any of AERC’s Electronics Recycling Collection Events hosted at municipalities, retailers and corporations throughout the country. Unless otherwise noted, the events listed below are open to individuals and small businesses of all communities. Any events that are restricted to members of a particular community may require proof of address at the event.

All accepted electronics will be processed according to a Zero Waste to Landfill Policy and any data contained on any accepted data storage device, such as a hard drive, will be completely destroyed.

These events are open to individuals and small businesses with small quantities of electronics for recycling. Electronics are taken for recycling at these events at no charge to participants. Acceptable Electronic Waste materials include printers, scanners, CPUs, computer monitors, laptops, internal computer components, telephones, telecommunication equipment, cameras, radios, modems, pagers, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, hand held games, computer accessories and peripherals, cables and cords. Most events also accept fluorescent bulbs and all types of batteries for a small fee. ---Drop Off Friday Program
Throughout the year, AERC offers members of its local communities other opportunities to recycle electronics. All AERC facilities have Drop Off Friday Hours every Friday from 9AM – 4PM. Local residents utilizing our facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Texas and California are welcome to drop off recyclable electronics. In Flanders, NJ, these Drop Off Friday Hours are scheduled for the first Friday of the month. New Jersey does not accept drop off on every Friday of the month.

As with the collection events, this Drop Off Friday Program is for individuals and small businesses with small quantities of electronics for recycling.

---Options for Larger Quantities of Electronic and Universal Waste
AERC offers solutions for Secure Data Destruction, End-of-Life Asset Management, Electronic and Universal Waste needs.
