Users want to be able to share what they create with other people, so we found a way to make that possible.
Edinburgh, Scotland (PRWEB UK) 19 April 2012
BitWink Ltd has announced Slideshow Builder 2.1, a major update to their successful Slideshow Builder for iPhone app. As well as making the app universal, this release is the first 3rd party app to use iCloud to sync slideshows across iOS devices, and send snapshots of slideshows to friends and family.
"Most apps use iCloud as a data silo," said Matt Farrugia, Managing Director of BitWink. "But users want to be able to share what they create with other people, so we found a way to make that possible. You tap to share a slideshow, and get back a link to it in iCloud to send to your friend's and family. No more multi-megabyte emails."
Update highlights include:
- native iPad interface
- optionally sync slideshows across devices using iCloud
- share slideshows via email using iCloud-hosted snapshots
- add music to slideshows from the iPod library
- faster photo-picker
- choose to keep photos in the library rather than make copies
- iOS 5.0 or later
- iCloud account for iCloud features
Pricing and Availability:
Slideshow Builder 2.1 will be available worldwide on Thursday 19th April for $1.99 (USD) and is available exclusively through Apple's App Store. It is a free update for existing users of Slideshow Builder. Slideshow Builder Lite 2.1 is a free-version of Slideshow Builder, limited to 20 slides.
