Wrapping a bus is an innovative, unique, visible, and fun advertising vehicle that we hope will remind the community about the 'Easy In, Easy Out' amenities available to them at their local airport.

Two Lehigh Valley transportation organizations that play a vital role in the transportation infrastructure for the region worked together to create a unique advertising vehicle. As part of the rebranding effort of the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA), along with the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANta), a bus wrap was created to promote the ease and convenience of using LVIA. The bus route will run through the airport’s primary catchment area of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.
“Wrapping a bus is an innovative, unique, visible, and fun advertising vehicle that we hope will remind the community about the 'Easy In, Easy Out' amenities available to them at their local airport, something you don’t get at larger airports,” stated Tony Iannelli, Chairman of the Board of Governors for the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
At the same time, the authorities have formed a partnership to design, build and maintain a transit stop at the airport. The project is one of the many examples of community partnerships that LANta is pursuing to make transit more convenient and relevant in the Lehigh Valley. The new transit stop will provide a comfortable waiting area for LANta riders who use the LVIA stop and will match the architecture of the recent airport improvements. It will also improve visibility of transit at the airport to attract new riders such as travelers and airport associates.
Lehigh Valley International Airport is conveniently located near Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton, Pennsylvania and is served by Air Canada, AirTran Airways*, Allegiant Air, Delta, Frontier, United, and US Airways with 11 nonstop destinations with connections to the world. LVIA serves a twelve county area with a population base of 3.6 million people. The Airport is easily accessible from communities in eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey areas.
