GoldMax USA, the largest chain of stores specializing in buying gold and precious metals from consumers in the U.S., announced today that the firm is expanding in the Atlanta, Georgia market with the grand opening of twos additional store in Atlanta. With more than 70 stores in Georgia and over 200 nationwide, GoldMax GoldMax celebrated the grand opening of a new store in Atlanta at 1985 Howell Mill Road, Suite 102 on April 18; and will celebrate the opening in the Ansley Mall at 1425 Piedmont Ave. NE on April 27. Recently, Angelique Archos, a GoldMax buyer in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, recalls the time when a customer had brought in jewelry that once belonged to her mother’s sisters who were Las Vegas showgirls in the 1940s and 1950s. The sisters had been married three times plus they had numerous wealthy admirers and consequently had acquired a lot of jewelry. The Aunts had recently passed away and Betty had to settle their estates.

"Betty brought in a large box and some Starbucks coffee and it took us two hours to sort through over a thousand pieces of costume jewelry," said Archos. "After two hours of examining the contents of the box, Betty left with a check in the amount of $4,077.

"Betty returned to GoldMax after a trip to Arizona with even more jewelry and was ecstatic to learn that she had received close to a total of $20,000 from the sale of the Las Vegas showgirls' jewelry collection,” said Archos.
