The development means we can run PPC campaigns from both platforms.

Three years after the pact was first announced, recent news has suggested that the two companies are about to enter the final stage of their alliance. All UK Yahoo! paid search accounts have been transferred to the Bing adCenter as of today. Already in place in the US, the transition means that Bing adCenter ads will gradually be displayed within Yahoo pages and search results in this country too, with the operation expected to conclude during the last week of the month.
The search specialists at digital marketing company SEO Positive have been examining the effects that the outcome is likely to have on their business as well as other companies and general consumers. Head of Paid Search at the fast-growing firm, Evaldas Balcius, explains what the move means for businesses such as theirs.
“The development means we can run PPC campaigns from both platforms, which in turn will save us time and effort. We’re always searching for new methods to bring our PPC clients successful ad positions in a short space of time, so we are feeling optimistic about the change,” claims Evaldas.
Whilst search engine users are unlikely to notice much of an initial difference, it would seem that SEO agencies are likely to benefit from the combined service. It is also expected that the association should see both companies unite to put themselves in a better position to compete against Google. The union is predicted to come to Germany, Austria and Switzerland later this year.
SEO Positive was established in 2007 in Chelmsford, Essex with the aim of bringing effective yet affordable online marketing services to companies from all industries and backgrounds. The company offers a huge range of services including search engine optimisation, Pay Per Click account management, social media marketing and website design.
