Regulatory Focus, the flagship digital publication for regulatory professionals in the healthcare product sector, has unveiled its mobile application, delivering the latest regulatory news, analysis and articles directly to users’ smartphones and tablet devices. The application currently is available for iPhone and iPad, with an Android version to follow soon. Regulatory Focus is published by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), the largest global organization of and for healthcare product regulatory professionals.
Since its inception in 1996, Regulatory Focus has provided readers an in-depth picture of the global regulatory environment with features and views from regulatory experts and professionals in the field. The publication moved to an all-digital format earlier this year, and is available online at regulatoryfocus.org, allowing RAPS to offer more timely content, increased accessibility and greater depth and breadth of regulatory resources on topics of interest to readers. Focus publishes free, publicly available online regulatory news as well as features and commentary exclusively for RAPS members.
“We changed the format of Regulatory Focus in response to how regulatory professionals are doing their jobs today and changing media preferences,” said Managing Editor Larry Frum. “This mobile app gives readers another way to interact with the important, relevant Regulatory Focus content they have come to expect, but now it will be at their fingertips wherever they are.”
The mobile app is available as a free download through the iTunes App Store, and is optimized for the new third-generation iPad’s high-resolution Retina display. It is fully compatible with all iOS devices running iOS version 5.0 and later.
In addition to the mobile application and website, news from Regulatory Focus is also available in the free RF Today daily briefing.
