London Digital Marketing Agency to Help Charities Online For Free

A London-based digital marketing agency today offered to provide online marketing and website advice to charities based in London—at no cost.

The free charity mini-audit provides access to SEO and online marketing intelligence

Digivate, a prominent digital agency based in Covent Garden, helps businesses to boost their online visibility and revenue through various digital marketing disciplines, such as search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter.

While Digivate usually charges businesses a premium for its services, the agency will now provide eligible charities with a free audit of their online presence, to help them understand how they can gain maximum exposure on the web. “Unfortunately, many not-for-profit organisations struggle to gain adequate visibility online, and we’d like to help these worthy causes in any way we can” said Ben Acheson, who is the company’s head of SEO and Social Media.

Mr Acheson came up with the idea for Digivate’s “Charity Online Mini-Audits” project after witnessing that some of his favourite charities failed to rank well in search engines. “I’d love to help every charity in the world to do better online, but we have finite resources. From today we’re offering free online marketing mini-audits to charities with offices in London, to help them gain the web presence they need to make a difference.”

One charity, Health Poverty Action, has already been provided with a free audit as a pilot for the scheme. Lizzie Helps, based at the charity’s London Head Office, said, “Many people use search engines and the internet to find good causes to support. The free charity mini-audit provides access to SEO and online marketing intelligence to help us engage more effectively online.”

Digivate’s Charity Online Mini-Audits include an analysis of the charity’s website, including visual appeal, user-friendliness and on-site SEO; as well as the charity’s presence in search engines and social media, with recommendations for improvement. Revealing the offer in more detail, Mr Acheson explains, “The emphasis is on the website’s ability to drive sales – i.e. donations. Unfortunately, Digivate can’t offer full servicing to charities for free. But the Charity Online Mini-Audit will show charities exactly what they need to do to boost their online presence and gain donations from people who appreciate what they’re doing to benefit the world.”

Charities wishing to take advantage of Digivate’s free Charity Online Mini-Audit offer should visit the agency’s website or call Mr Acheson directly at the company’s London office, on 020 7845 9951.
