Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in infrastructure engineering and consulting services, has announced that the firm has been selected by James City County, Virginia to provide design services for the County’s infrastructure projects.
Timmons Group proposed an integrated team of transportation and traffic engineers, planners, surveyors, utility engineers, environmental scientists, landscape architects, GIS specialists and construction managers to meet James City County’s needs. Services will be provided from the firm’s headquarters in Richmond as well as its Hampton Roads office in Virginia Beach. The one-year contract, with four optional one-year renewable terms, has a maximum value of $500,000 per year. Much of the work is expected to be funded through state (VDOT) or federal resources.
