Raising money is the most difficult aspect of running for office, and is also the least written about and most misunderstood component of a successful political campaign.

Brandon Lewis, author of How to Raise Money for Political Office, will be giving a free seminar for conservative candidates and organizations in Nashville on April 28th. The goal of the seminar will be to better equip participants to raise money for their political efforts on the state and local level.
“Raising money is the most difficult aspect of running for office, and is also the least written about and most misunderstood component of a successful political campaign. Our seminars are designed to provide participants with the basic knowledge necessary to fund their efforts,” said Lewis.
In addition to writing a book on political fundraising, Lewis also developed a campaign software application specifically designed to help state and local candidates better organize and manage the fundraising process. Campaign Treasurer is a cloud-based application that is hosted at MyCampaignTreasurer.com along with blogs, sample documents, and a forum designed to help the do-it-yourself campaigner.
“After working on campaigns at the federal level where full-time fundraising consultants are the norm, I was amazed at how few tools were available to help state and local efforts in the finance arena. So, we have assembled some great resources to help small and medium sized campaigns realize their full potential,” concluded Lewis.
The campaign fundraising seminar for conservative candidates and organizations will be held at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel, 2025 Rosa L Parks Boulevard, Nashville, TN, Saturday, April 28th, at 2pm-4pm. The seminar is free but registration is required online at http://www.mycampaigntreasurer.com/category/seminars/ or by calling 423-800-0520.
