With new offices in San Francisco, and a fast-growing startup ecosystem here in Vancouver, we’re well positioned to take advantage of both communities.
Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) April 19, 2012
Following several months of rapid growth, Vancouver-based startup Indicee Inc. (“Indicee”) today announced the opening of a new office in San Francisco, to better access industry events and work more closely with customers in the Bay Area.
Indicee, the leading cloud business intelligence platform company, launched their Powered by Indicee Partner Program last year to allow other software companies and online services to deliver world-class reporting and analytics to their customers. Since the launch, the company’s headcount and customer base has grown steadily, with many hailing from Silicon Valley.
“Indicee is growing rapidly,” explained Mark Cunningham, Founder and CEO, Indicee. “Since launching our dedicated partner acquisition program in December 2011, we’ve quickly built up a base of partners who are using Indicee to unlock their customer data through embedded analytics, as well as many who use it as an internal business intelligence tool. Today, a large number of our customers are cloud-based ISVs in the Valley, so establishing an office and team in the area is the next logical step for Indicee.”
With recent recognition from industry commentators, including featuring in the 2012 Emerging Rockets ICT List and being named a NextGen company by the Software & Information Industry Association, the Vancouver team is also spending more time in Silicon Valley for industry events.
“Vancouver is one of the world's hotspots for business intelligence expertise, so it continues to be the perfect place for Indicee to be headquartered,” continued Cunningham. “However, the sheer size of the technology community in the Valley means it’s an important hub for our industry and we’re increasingly spending time at trade shows, talking with analysts, and working with customers there. With new offices in San Francisco, and a fast-growing startup ecosystem here in Vancouver, we’re well positioned to take advantage of both communities.”
Indicee will be exhibiting at the Cloud Analytics Summit in Mountain View, CA, on April 25, where Cunningham will join an industry panel showcasing real-world cloud business intelligence success stories.
Indicee is leading the shift from complex, expensive Business Intelligence (BI) software to agile cloud-based services that can quickly bring data together from many sources and deliver the answers that businesses need.
Backed by Granite Ventures and Yaletown Ventures, Indicee’s Cloud BI Platform was built from the ground up by business intelligence industry visionaries from Crystal Services and Business Objects. The team designed Indicee after experiencing the path BI had taken from accessible solutions to complex software suites only armies of developers and analysts could deliver.
