Pam Sands has been awarded the Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals based in Washington, DC.

Pam Sands has been awarded the Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals based in Washington, DC.

“The workforce is the backbone of any business and creating and sustaining jobs is key to the economic recovery in our country,” said Sands. “This certification connects me to over 4,000 other professionals committed to the same ideal. Together we can learn from, challenge and work alongside each other to strengthen our national workforce,” Sands added.

Workforce Development Professionals facilitate the process by which individuals identify, prepare for, obtain and maintain employment and self-sufficiency; and assist businesses with accessing and retaining a quality workforce. The CWDP recognizes the training, experience and expertise of professionals in the field in ten areas of competency:

Sands is currently employed as a Global Client Relationship Manager at Kelly Services a global leader in providing workforce solutions. Pam is also the vice chair of the Broward Workforce Development Board and has provided insight into workforce development related issues to many of her customers. She also serves on the board of ARC Broward and the Educational Advisory Board in her city. She resides in South Florida with her husband and two children.

The CWDP program is administered and endorsed by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals. NAWDP is a national association for individual practitioners in the workforce development profession, with over 4,000 members. Its mission is to be the national voice for the profession and to meet the individual professional development needs of its membership.
