It is your forgiveness that will bring the world of darkness to the light.
Wisconsin Dells, WI (PRWEB) April 19, 2012
A Course in Miracles International today announced that it is highlighting a special video clip on the Cosmic Reconciliation page of its International Forgiveness Week Website. Explained event coordinator, Jubi, “This compelling forgiveness story is a way of bringing attention to the “Cosmic Reconciliation” celebration, scheduled to take place during International Forgiveness Week and Weekend of Perfect Peace (September 14 -23, 2012).
“While open to everyone, this special themed assembly will be dedicated to acknowledging and healing the dilemma of veterans of combat and victims of armed conflict in all wars and in all times. These individuals and their families carry the burden of vivid memories of unspeakable horror, for which forgiveness is the only resolution.
“The video clip we are featuring on the website reveals the story of a veteran of World War II, who as a young marine having recently been horribly wounded in the South Pacific, finds himself assigned to Nagasaki two short weeks after the atomic bomb was dropped. He describes his heartrending quandary of being caught between the elation and relief of the end of the war, and the guilt and horror of experiencing, firsthand, the devastation wrought by the nuclear holocaust that ended the war.
“Only in a moment of forgiveness, shared with a former enemy, was the ambivalence and turmoil of his mind miraculously, completely undone.
“The Master Teacher of A Course In Miracles as that ‘veteran’ later became known, attributed to that moment of forgiveness, the beginning of his own illumination, and realization of singular Self.”
“As Jesus Christ states in A Course In Miracles, 'It is your forgiveness that will bring the world of darkness to the light. It is your forgiveness that lets you recognize the light in which you see. Forgiveness is the demonstration that you are the light of the world. Through your forgiveness does the truth about yourself return to your memory. Therefore, in your forgiveness lies your salvation.'

Continued Jubi, “The urgent need for forgiveness is being felt by a rapidly increasing number of individuals around the world at this time. In the introductory video for her new documentary, 'Project Forgive', filmmaker Shawne Duperon notes, '...Forgiveness is easy, it's clean, it's pure... Forgiveness is at our core; it's simply who we are...'
“Inspired by the deeply moving experience of a friend's unqualified forgiveness in the face of immense personal tragedy, Duperon, a six-time EMMY® award-winning producer decided to make the film, Project: Forgive.
“As we announced earlier, Shawne Duperon will be present at the events of International Forgiveness Weekend and Weekend of Perfect Peace, to film selected individuals willing to share their forgiveness experience stories.
“In the meantime, Duperon must raise about $13,000 within the next four days, if she is to succeed in her goal of raising $100,000 of initial funding for the film through the Kickstarter Online Fund-raising Website.
“In her appeal for donations, Duperon writes, 'Project: Forgive The momentum is building! We are close to our $100,000 goal - the more we raise - the better the film. If we don't reach it by April 23, Kickstarter will return all pledged money to the backers and NOTHING will go to Project: Forgive.'
“It is crucial that all efforts to communicate the true message of Love, Forgiveness and the Peace of God, be given unqualified support by each and every one of us,” concluded Jubi.
