DFW AMA Awards SCA Promotions 2011 Marketer of the Year in Branding Category

SCA Promotions was recognized by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association at their awards ceremony on April 18th. SCA took home the Branding award for the innovative "25,000 Win-Win" Facebook promotion.

SCA Promotions was recognized by the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association (DFW AMA) with a 2011 Marketer of the Year Award in the Branding category. SCA was recognized for its innovative “$25,000 Win-Win” Facebook promotion, celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary.

SCA Promotions was selected as the Branding category winner due to the success of the Anniversary promotion. During the promotion period, SCA recorded 55,317 game plays with 3,016 unique registrations, and boosted its Facebook fan base from 225 “Likes” to 3,675.

Visitors to SCA’s Facebook page that entered the promotion not only had an opportunity to win $25,000 for themselves, but also win another $25,000 to be awarded to a charity of choice. The promotion was showcased on SCA Promotions Facebook page. The contest increased brand awareness, celebrated the company’s 25th anniversary, and increased Facebook fans. The promotion ran from June 16 through Dec. 31, 2011.

The winners of the 2011 Marketer of the Year awards were announced April 18 at the DFW AMA Awards Gala, held at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Dallas.
