Hot’s Kitchen To Host Walk With Sally’s “Friendship in the Kitchen” Event on April 21st

Hot’s Kitchen has partnered with charity Walk With Sally to empower children, whose parents or siblings have been affected by cancer, by teaching them how to cook easy meals.

On Saturday, April 21st, Hot’s Kitchen, one of Hermosa Beach’s most beloved restaurants, will host Walk With Sally’s “Friendship in the Kitchen” event. The event will be a fun-filled morning for the 20 children and mentors involved, starting with a hands-on cooking lesson for the kids by Executive Chef Sean Chaney, lunch, and finally a take-home goodie bag with ingredients for participants to make a meal at home for their family based on what they learned.

About Walk With Sally: The mission of Walk With Sally is to provide mentoring support programs and services to children of parents (or siblings) with cancer – one child at a time, one heart at a time. All Walk With Sally programs and services are free of charge and open to all children between 7 and 17 years of age. Walk With Sally programs are dedicated to helping children successfully cope with the emotional trauma of a parent's or sibling's cancer.
