A sales incentive that creates lifelong memories is one that inspires sales people to reach new heights in performance.

Broach Sports Tours has added to its corporate sports travel division by including trips to the Kentucky Derby and other premier sporting events, president Tom Broach has announced.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based company, a leader in the sports and group travel industry since 1992, has previously specialized in corporate outings to Major League Baseball games – particularly weekend getaways to Atlanta, New York, Boston and Chicago.

Now, the company is also catering corporate outings to annual sporting events such as the Kentucky Derby, U.S. Open golf and tennis tournaments, Wimbledon, various NASCAR races and more. Each itinerary is customized to serve the needs of the corporation and the size of the group.

Carlos McCracken, Broach Sports Tours’ group coordinator, said that the benefits of corporate sports travel are numerous.

“Sports move us,” McCracken said. “Sports change behavior. So it is no wonder that many successful businesses use sports incentive travel to draw in customers, reward key business partners and use as a sales incentive to inspire sales people to achieve better results for their company.

“A sales incentive that creates lifelong memories is one that inspires sales people to reach new heights in performance. Sports incentive travel experiences, in particular, have the power to motivate by bringing people together with our love of sports, our desire to travel, and the thrill of being at a live event.”

Broach said there are other intangible benefits for corporations interested in group travel packages.

“We have seen for years that corporate outings bring employers and their employees closer together, and have a big impact on company morale,” Broach said. “There’s nothing better than to be rewarded at work with a weekend trip to see the Braves, or the Yankees.. It’s not just baseball, either. That’s why we are so excited about offering the Kentucky Derby and other classic annual sporting events.”

In addition to its corporate packages, Broach Sports Tours offers more than 50 sports tours to sports fans around the country. Included are 27 various Major League Baseball packages, all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, and golf’s Majors.
