Garanimals has released its first iOS app, “Garanimals: Learn, Play, Share,” available for iPad and iPhone. The app is an educational game that teaches letters, numbers and shapes. It has a rating of 4+ and is available for free download through the iTunes store.
With the Garanimals audio-visual app, kids can learn about letters, numbers and shapes in the three featured games. The letters game teaches the names and symbols of each letter, as well as provides an image that corresponds to them. The numbers game teaches the names and symbols of numbers one through ten, and counts out each number using a particular item. The shapes game teaches the names and symbols of the following shapes: triangle, rectangle, square, circle, oval, diamond, as well as relates the shapes to corresponding images.
Simple directions, recognizable items and audio-visual combinations allow young children to thoroughly understand the concepts. Fun graphics and sounds are engaging and enjoyable for them to experience. Kids and their parents can enjoy playing and learning together with Garanimals, in their home or on-the-go.
“We understand the importance of making learning enjoyable,” says a Garan representative, “This app is not only a fun, educational tool, but a way for parents to connect with their children.”
