The Indian River Queen, triple deck paddle wheel boat in Cocoa Florida will treat Mothers like Queen's on a special planned dinner cruise. A limited number of boarding passes are now available. Mom's ride free on a Island Boat Lines dolphin and manatee tour in the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands when they are with a full paying adult passenger.

Island Boat Lines offers daily Dolphin and Manatee tours through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands. Island Boat Lines depart from the Sunset Waterfront Cafe in Cocoa Beach at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily. Two o'clock only on Sunday's. Penny Flaherty and her assistant Debbie Sheridan are at the helm. "Women running tour boat operations are a rare combination in such a male dominated industry, said Penny Flaherty, owner of both companies. Debbie and I are in contact with every passenger who come on board our vessels. We book the tours, plan the events, make reservations, collect the fees, do all our own marketing, schedule the crew and even work on board the events."

Debbie is also busy managing Island Boat Lines in addition to assisting Penny with the Indian River Queen operations. "Our crew have enjoyed working with Debbie. She is patient and conscientious with everyone she deals with and she has been the perfect leader for our dedicated crew for over ten years". said Penny

Not only do these women run Island Boat Lines and the Indian River Queen, they understand how important Mothers Day is and have sacrificed their Mother's Day with their families for the past 10 years by working on the special events they offer.

This year Penny and Debbie are offering two special events for Mothers Day.

A special dinner cruise on the Indian River Queen is planned. This cruise will be limited to 85 passengers. In the Queen's room Mom's and their families will enjoy a wonderful dinner which is prepared by the catering team at the Black Tulip, an upscale restaurant in Cocoa Village. On the second deck passengers can laugh and dance to The Good Time Band, a traditional dixieland band. Topside, Mom's will enjoy the beautiful & scenic Indian River Lagoon as the sunsets. Boarding will begin at 5:00. The Queen is underway from 5:30-7:30 and the event will conclude at 8:00 pm. The cost for the Mothers Day cruise is $50 per person + 6% sales tax.

Mom's ride free on Mothers Day on Island Boat Lines. Mothers must be accompanied by a full paying adult passenger to get their free boarding pass. Adult boarding pass rate is $28.per person This offer can not be combined with any other offer.
