The Great Places to Work Institute this week named Intelex Technologies the fifth best place to work in Canada in the medium-sized business category, adding to the array of accolades this rapidly growing software company has achieved in 2012. Intelex’s top 10 placement among 50 organizations and hundreds of other applicants represents another coup for the organization, which was featured among other winners in the April 19 issue of The Globe and Mail.

“Great Place to Work® Institute would like to recognize and congratulate Intelex Technologies for its success in creating a great workplace culture,” explained Jose Tolovi Neto, Managing Partner at Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. “Intelex Technologies has been ranked on our 2012 list because employees told us they trust management, have pride in their jobs, and enjoy the people they work with. Employees at Intelex Technologies care about their work, their organization, and their community.”

In addition to being ranked fifth on Great Place to Work Institute’s list, Intelex was also honoured with an exclusive Camaraderie Award which only five other companies, including Google Canada, received for fostering an environment of friendship, trust and community.
The news follows a cascade of achievements for the Toronto-based business, which has developed software for environment, health, safety (EHS) and quality management for more than two decades. In addition to being included in Deloitte’s 2012 list of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America for the third straight year, the company ranked as one of the Greater Toronto Area’s top 2012 employers in earlier reports published in The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star, Canada’s two largest newspapers. In addition to being ranked in studies by AON Hewitt and Queen’s School of Business, Intelex was also included in PROFIT magazine’s 2012 ranking of Canada’s 50 best small and medium employers.

“This is a great award for the company and totally a result of our exceptional culture and great people we have here,” remarked Intelex President and CEO Mark Jaine. “I can’t stress enough that it is all about our people: how everyone work with their colleagues, shares ideas, creates an open and trusting environment, and ultimately cultivates a workplace that is a pleasure to come to every day.”

Intelex continues to achieve substantial growth figures and is seeking top talent at its Toronto and UK offices. Visit our careers page to learn more and see the Great Places to Work 2012 list here.
