Social media agency Maximize Social Media LLC is pleased to announce its Restaurant Reputation Management program, where restaurant owners will have a dedicated member of the Maximize staff monitor their online reputation. Maximize currently manages several restaurants’ social media advertising campaigns and this program is a natural extension of assisting restaurants in harnessing the power of word of mouth marketing on the Internet.

“When you are managing a restaurants’ Timeline on Facebook, the vast majority of the posts are very positive, but occasionally a negative post is made. Our team quickly responds showing care and concern for the restaurant patron and helps resolve their negative experience in a timely manner. We discovered this wasn’t really happening on restaurant review sites, so it made sense to offer this service as well so that any negative reviews could have an appropriate response,” said Chris McLaughlin, CEO of Maximize Social Media LLC.

But handing negative reviews is only one aspect of the program. The staff at Maximize that provide social media management services are also encouraging positive reviews from customers who interact with the restaurant on other social platforms.

“This program is a natural outgrowth of our Facebook management for several restaurants. We discovered that often times the true fans of a restaurant weren’t going to Yelp or Urbanspoon to post their great feedback, but instead were going to Facebook. This is great for the restaurant’s fan page but doesn’t necessarily help their rating with the restaurant review sites. When we encouraged Facebook fans to post their experiences at the restaurant review sites the ratings certainly were more favorable,” said Craig Collins, Senior Vice President of Maximize Social Media LLC.
