An integrated online campaign developed by BKV for Daimler Trucks North America earned “Best of Show” in the Kansas City Business Marketing Association’s annual Fountain Awards competition. The “Best of Show” entry was among 10 Fountain Awards and two certificates of merit the agency brought home from the BMA’s awards banquet on April 18.

“As an agency, our focus is on cutting-edge, creative strategies that drive phenomenal results,” said Rick Skaggs, CEO. “It's an honor to be recognized by our peers in the business-to-business marketing industry for the results we achieve for our clients.”

The entries were judged on numerous criteria, including creativity, strategy, production and results. BKV’s award-winning entries included a variety of campaigns developed for Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), Mercedes-Benz USA, Caterpillar Paving, B. E. Smith, Schiller Grounds Care, NCM Associates, Euronet and Dice.

DTNA is a leading truck manufacturer and a key player in the truck parts and service industry. The Best of Show-winning campaign — which focused on reinforcing DTNA’s dealers as the “preferred choice” while driving traffic to franchised locations for parts and service purchases — featured a mobile application for smartphones designed to do just that. The mobile app was supported by an online banner ad campaign, in-store point-of-service materials and a launch event at the industry’s largest annual trade show.

“In today’s competitive climate, our clients are looking for cost-effective, innovative ways to generate revenue while establishing loyal relationships with customers,” said Susan Reiter, BKV executive vice president of client services. “Our ‘Best of Show’ campaign for DTNA was a perfect example of how to achieve that.”
