Europe’s Digital Agenda is focused on helping businesses manage information more effectively. Our European partners can now better meet demand in their regions to provide solutions that deliver faster and more accurate collection and organisation of data.

From the International SharePoint Conference London 2012, Pingar, a leading provider of unstructured data management solutions, today announced that the Pingar API now supports French, German, Italian and Spanish languages. Pingar transforms enterprise information into intelligence using text mining, natural language processing & machine learning technology. By extending existing support to include more European languages, Pingar now makes it possible for a broader group of enterprises to quickly and accurately organise, search, summarise and sanitise information in unstructured files. These new capabilities make it easier for businesses to collaborate across divisions, improve document and information management efficiencies and further optimise operations

Peter Wren-Hilton, CEO of Pingar, said: “Europe’s Digital Agenda is focused on helping businesses manage information more effectively. Our European partners can now better meet demand in their regions to provide solutions that deliver faster and more accurate collection and organisation of data for business intelligence.”

Adding Pingar to an existing content or document management solution means metadata can automatically be applied to previously unstructured or poorly structured documents without replacing existing software, and with little to no additional user training.

Mike Brooksbank, managing director, Pingar UK, vice president EMEA for said “European businesses have a high ratio of hard copy documents in business processes. Research shows that enterprises in Germany, in particular, spend a high number of hours managing critical business documents. Creating electronic versions of critical business documents through image capture is a good first step. Turning those images into properly structured files is essential to optimising business operations”.

With Pingar solutions for image capture, enterprise information workers can scan paper documents directly into their document management system, whilst also creating metadata consistently and proprietary taxonomies automatically.
