The peace of God is everything I want. The peace of God is my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek, my purpose and my function and my life, while I abide where I am not at home.

With just five months to go to International Forgiveness Week and Weekend of Perfect Peace (September 14-23, 2012), personal pledges for peace are pouring in from numerous countries around the world, to form the spectacular “Peace Mosaic”, a vibrant and colorful collage representing thousands of voices united in a single visual symphony of dedication to Peace.

Event Coordinator Nancy Reid of A Course In Miracles International is “thrilled at the response”, and reiterated her call to everyone everywhere to participate in the Peace Mosaic, saying, “Time is short. Now is the time to extend your love and peace. For your part is still what all the rest depends on. You do not have to be an artist or a poet to make a mosaic piece. Everyone is invited. All you are contributing is your love.

“It is amazing how powerful your voice really is. Your determination to be an instrument of peace, is of inestimable value. As Jesus Christ says in A Course In Miracles, '...a Son of God can recognize his power in one instant and change the world in the next. That is because, by changing his mind, he has changed the most powerful device that was ever given him for change.'”

“I simply remember,” concluded Reid, "that 'the peace of God is everything I want. The peace of God is my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek, my purpose and my function and my life, while I abide where I am not at home.'”

The Peace Mosaic, a centerpiece of the celebration of International Forgiveness Week and Weekend of Perfect Peace, will be showcased, and presented to the global community in a special ceremony at the Miracles Healing Center in Wisconsin Dells, WI on September 21, 2012, the United Nations International Day of Peace.

The Mosaic is an ever-expanding collage of colorful “tiles” from all over the world, each representing an individual's pledge to take some action, however small, for the attainment of peace. The action can be something as simple as a prayer or the lending of a helping hand.

The Peace pledges are then written, drawn, painted, sculpted, etched, glued or otherwise visually represented on a square piece of paper (or other material) for inclusion in the Peace Mosaic.

Contribution to the Peace Mosaic is open to everyone regardless of nationality, age, gender, educational level, religious or political affiliation. The only requirement is a sincere desire for peace.
