Gordon has a unique and effective style of selling and he has made a huge contribution to the organisation over the past 17 years
Harlow, Essex (PRWEB UK) 24 April 2012
Haag-Streit UK Regional Sales Manager, Gordon Medlow, has recently retired after 17 years loyal service with the company. Haag-Streit said a fond farewell to Gordon at a formal reception last week, where he was presented with electric bagpipes to thank him for his hard work, and to wish him well in his retirement. After playing the bagpipes for years, this was a fitting gift for Gordon, who was very touched by the gesture.
Gordon started work for Haag-Streit UK in 1995, and was recruited as an Area Sales Manager. After 6 years he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for the North, a post he successfully held for 11 years. His sales figures were consistently outstanding and he was praised by Managing Director Dean Johnson and Group Managing Director, David Wright during their farewell speeches for his exceptional sales record.
Haag-Streit UK Managing Director, Dean Johnson said, “Gordon has a unique and effective style of selling and he has made a huge contribution to the organisation over the past 17 years. He has played an integral part in growing the company, particularly the Northern Regional Team and his expertise will be missed. We wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.”
Gordon has handed over the sales function for Scotland and Ireland to Angela Masson, Area Sales Manager, who joined the organisation on 5th March 2012.
