We want to change their world and make it a better place
Richboro, PA (PRWEB) April 24, 2012
The Autism Cares Foundation (ACF) is proud to host the third annual auction and gala, on April 28, to raise funds to provide free events and workshops for children with autism and their families.
In order to reach their goals, the foundation relies on the continued support and generosity from the community. The gala will host silent and live auctions, which feature items donated from local businesses. Local musicians will perform live music.
ACF aims to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism. “We want to change their world and make it a better place,” co-founder, Frank Keupper stated.
While many organizations support funding a cure for autism, ACF focuses on what they can do now for the children and their families. They host a variety of events to keep the children active and help them to become active members in the community. Collaborating with many community organizations and with the support of donations, they hosted more than 100 events this year alone!
“You need something at the local level that can help your child today and Autism Cares Foundation was the first and only organization that offered my daughter things to do without judgment. It is nice that the foundation has found stuff to do locally where we can be ourselves and Egan can be herself and can include the whole family,” said Joy Taylor, a parent member of the foundation.
Autism Cares Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goals include helping children with autism and their families improve their daily lives with social events, workshops and fundraisers. Their personal goal is not a cure, but a lifeline for a better tomorrow.
