Auto Truck Group, a leading provider of custom upfitted vehicles, announces the promotion of Matt McGowan to the position of director sales, western region. Action plans developed and approved through the company’s recent strategic planning process led to the realignment of its sales team and this new position.

Based at the Bartlett, IL facility, McGowan will work with the western sales team and the group’s Denver and Colorado Springs facilities to strengthen existing account relationships and initiate new business development.

“Matt has demonstrated excellent sales leadership since joining Auto Truck Group,” said Dennis J. Jones, vice president, Sales & Marketing. “He will play an integral role in our continued growth in the western region.”

McGowan started as a sales manager with Auto Truck Group in June 2009. Prior to his current role, he served as fleet sales manager for the northeast sales area and was also responsible for maintaining relationships with the major fleet management companies.
