Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) April 24, 2012
Today, at the 8th Annual Creating Consumer Experience Symposium at University of North Texas, Samir Kothari, Co-Founder and VP of Products at Truaxis, will speak about online and customer privacy and the responsibility retailers have to protect their customers in the digital age. Samir will address what it takes to earn customer trust in today’s environment, as well as how customer privacy and protection must be a focus from the beginning to gain and keep customers.
As an advocate of corporate transparency, Samir will show retailers how good privacy practices lead to building lifetime customer relationships. In turn, he will share examples of how poor privacy standards have lead to a loss of trust and damaged reputations for many leading companies.
This is the 8th Annual Creating Consumer Experience Symposium, hosted by University of North Texas’ College of Merchandising and Hospitality Management, with a focus on “Protecting Consumers and Brands in the Digital Age.” Samir will speak with Joe LaRocca, Senior Asset Protection Advisor for the National Retail Federation, and Josh Bourne, co-Founder and Managing Partner at FairWinds Partners.
