Health and wellness retreat Warm Mineral Springs announced on Tuesday that it would be implementing a unique approach toward organically building its Facebook presence by inviting all regular visitors, as well as people interested in health and wellness, to participate in the building of the online community. Warm Mineral Springs suggested that fans visit the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WarmMineralSpringsFlorida, and share their personal thoughts on Warm Mineral Springs as well as health and wellness as a whole. The goal of the innovative program is to allow fans to create the voice of Warm Mineral Springs on Facebook, thereby allowing potential new guests to review the messages and better understand how Warm Mineral Springs can benefit health.
Warm Mineral Springs is a National Register of Historic Places recognized health and wellness retreat owned by Sarasota County and the city of North Port Florida. The spring itself is the only warm water mineral springs in the State of Florida, and the largest warm water mineral spring in the world. The property which was privately owned was developed into a spa in the 1960s, during which time many archaeological discoveries were made, and eventually was purchased by local government bodies in December 2010. Warm Mineral Springs offers spa services at Spa Donya, on site food options at Café Evergreen, free classes and fifty-one minerals in which to soak away the aches and pains.
