For the fourth year in a row, Clickstop, Inc. will be recognized by the Corridor Business Journal (CBJ) as one of the top 25 fastest-growing businesses in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City business corridor.

The company will learn of its exact ranking during an awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 22nd at the Coralville Marriott. At that time, the CBJ will reveal the individual rankings of the top 25 businesses.

Rankings are based on continued growth revenue over a three-year period. Clickstop first made the list in 2009, ranking #4, based on revenue from 2006-2008. In 2010 the company made the list at #5, and last year ranked #4, with 180% revenue growth. Clickstop is the only company to place in the top five for three consecutive years.

Clickstop CEO Tim Guenther, who began the start-up company selling a variety of cargo control products including tie down straps, moving supplies, lifting slings and more on its USCargoControl.com website, said it’s an honor to be among such notable companies in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor. Guenther also commented that he appreciates the recognition the CBJ gives to area businesses of all sizes and industries.

“We’re so proud to have experienced tremendous growth at Clickstop, and our future business plans include continued expansion; adding jobs and contributing to the local economy in the corridor area are an integral part of those plans,” said Guenther. “Having the CBJ highlight our achievements as we’ve grown from just a small start-up company to where we are today has been extremely rewarding.”

Along with revenue, the Urbana, IA based company also expanded physically in 2011, moving into a new $2.5 million dollar, 35,000-sq. foot facility in March, then re-opening its original offices and warehouse in the BECCA industrial park in December to accommodate its continued explosive growth. The company also added several new employees in 2011, bringing the total number of employees to nearly 50, and anticipates adding another 50 new hires over the next three years.
