The new SUNRAY products are the creation of the respected collaborative design team of Ron Dahlquist and Wally Mills who collectively enjoy over 70 years in the design and manufacturing of motion picture lighting systems.

SUNRAY, continuing its 30-year tradition in innovative design of HMI and Tungsten lighting fixtures for the motion picture and television industry has announced exciting new additions to its SUNRAY Sunburst HMI product series, the new 1800Watt HMI fixture and the new 441 HMI system that features one fixture with one ballast and cable set with 4 different globe wattages – 1200watt, 1800watt, 2500watt and 4000watt—an All-In-One FIXTURE—for greater return on investment and less inventory costs.

The SUNRAY Sunburst HMI product series featuring the groundbreaking G-4 24KW HMI lighting system released in 2011 along with its new HMI product release is complemented by SUNRAY’s new Tungsten series of incandescent lights: The 20/24kW, 10/12kW, 5kW, 2kW, 1kW, 650w, 300w, and 150w fixtures.

The new SUNRAY products are the creation of the respected collaborative design team of Ron Dahlquist and Wally Mills who collectively enjoy over 70 years in the design and manufacturing of motion picture lighting systems. Both Dahlquist (former head of set lighting at Paramount Studios, President of Keylite Production Systems and current facility manager of the Santa Clarita Studios), and Wally Mills (founder of CINEMILLS) bring to their design the added field experience of user needs for reliable quality products and services.

SUNRAY products are distributed worldwide. All SUNRAY lighting fixtures are assembled by IATSE Local 728 union craftsmen in Sun Valley, California, in the heart of the generic Hollywood film and television community, and listed through E.T.L. to U.L. standards.
