mBLAST, a leader in marketing intelligence and analytics, today announced a major update to its flagship mPACT Pro™ product suite. Among the changes in this new version are the addition of a sentiment analysis report and the ability to tune the product’s algorithms and results based on three different metrics: influence, authority and topical relevance.
The Sentiment Report analyzes voices talking anywhere (in mainstream media, blogs and social media) about a user’s chosen topical area, brand and competitors and then summarizes those voices’ coverage as positive, negative or neutral, both graphically and in table format.
With the new Tunability feature, mPACT Pro™ users can customize any search based upon their own needs and preferences to produce a list of leading, topically relevant voices, no matter where those voices appear.
Additionally, the mPACT Pro™ product has been enhanced by a new Search Suggestions engine, which examines keywords entered by the user – or scraped from a Web page of the user’s choice – and then examines the billion plus records in the mPACT database to suggest related keywords. Further enhancements to the mPACT Pro User Interface and reporting capabilities have been included in this upgrade.

The Tunability update is available now for users of mPACT Pro™, while search suggestions and sentiment analysis will be generally available in early May.
