Alex Buono is an Oscar Nominated cinematographer, member of the Writer’s Guild of America, and Director of Photography for Saturday Night Live. By now, many would be resting on their creative laurels after such accomplishments, but this has never been an option for Alex. Having been on the camera crew for multiple Hollywood blockbusters, including Armageddon, Conspiracy Theory, and Twister, Alex soon branched out to writing, producing, and shooting with his own documentarian interests in mind, and has become one of the world’s leaders in HDSLR video work. Alex pursues the latest advancements in his field with the eagerness of a student and the mastery of a professional, and shares his methods, insights, and trade secrets at Exposure.
Kristian Bogner is a world-class professional photographer, teacher, and Nikon ambassador, and brings his passion, intelligence, and wisdom to the Exposure stage for the first show of 2012. His illustrative style is bold and colourful, yet translates sensitivity to the subject that only he could convey. In Kristian’s recent photographic expedition to India, he captured amazing images of monks, nomads, mountain scapes and palaces; artistic images that will undoubtedly grace the walls of his dedicated fans for years to come. Kristian will inspire with his award-winning photographs at Exposure 2012.
Amina Moreau is the co-founder of cinematographic powerhouse stillmotion, whose wedding, commercial, and advertorial work pushes the boundaries of all previous benchmarks in the trade. Consisting of a pioneering collective of creative talents, stillmotion are considered industry-leading masters of handheld HDSLR video. Currently based in Toronto and San Francisco, these powerful cinematographers, as a rule, always let their curiosity get the better of them in the stories they tell, and have been nominated for an incredible eight Emmy awards, including best camera work and best sport documentary. Amina joins the talented cast of Exposure 2012 speakers in her seminar, Key Techniques for Effective Storytelling.
