Bestselling Author and Retired Gulf War Commander Joins Ropella Board of Advisors

General Charles Horner, retired Air Force general and bestselling author, has recently joined the Ropella Group's Board of Advisors to assist Ropella's developing Leadership Transformation division. Horner co-wrote Every Man a Tiger with Tom Clancy and commanded all air assets during Desert Storm.

General Charles Horner, retired Air Force general and bestselling author, has recently joined the Ropella Group's Board of Advisors to assist Ropella's developing Leadership Transformation division.

The Ropella Group is guided by a Board of Advisors comprised of accomplished professionals from successful companies throughout North America as well as the US military. The most recent addition to Ropella's Board of Advisors is Charles A. Horner. In addition to serving on the Board, Horner will be active in Ropella's Leadership Transformation division, which provides state-of-the-art, immersive, cutting-edge leadership training in partnership with universities, law enforcement agencies, security firms, and even the Department of Homeland Security.

Horner was Commander in Chief of North American Aerospace Defense Command and the U.S. Space Command, and Commander of Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado from 1992-1994. He was responsible for the aerospace defense of the United States and Canada and the exploitation and control of space. He was in command of all U.S. and allied air assets during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, during which he briefly served as Commander-in-Chief - Forward of U.S. Central Command.

General Horner is also a bestselling author and co-wrote Every Man a Tiger with Tom Clancy. He currently serves on the board of directors for the US Institute of Peace, as Chairman of the Board for the University of West Florida, and as Vice Chairman on the board of directors for the Living Oceans Foundation, owned by Saudi Prince Khaled bin Sultan.
