The DonorCommunity Platform

DonorCommunity Web applications enable us to cultivate and communicate with donors and supporters in new and innovative ways. We’re delighted with our new capabilities.

DonorCommunity, Inc., developers of an innovative cloud computing software platform for fundraising and advocacy, announced today the addition of The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT to its rapidly expanding network of nonprofit clients. The Arc has already begun using DonorCommunity’s comprehensive online platform of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for CRM, Online Marketing, Online Donations, Event Management, Social Networking, Viral Fundraising and Website Content Management. As a DonorCommunity subscriber, The Arc also receives unlimited training and support along with free Website hosting.

“In just ten days, DonorCommunity had us up and running with a brand new Website with new capabilities for processing online donations,” said Arc Resource Development Director Chris Caseman. “But we’ve gained much more than simply an attractive new Website. Powering our site is a collection of robust, easy-to-use Web applications that allow us to cultivate and communicate with donors and supporters in new and innovative ways. Equally important, we can now collect, track and analyze all of these stakeholder interactions using DonorCommunity’s powerful CRM application, which ties everything together and makes the whole process incredibly efficient. We’re delighted with our new capabilities.”

Since DonorCommunity offers its software as a service, clients have no need to buy, install or manage software. Instead, they simply purchase an annual subscription and access their DonorCommunity applications and data through a secure Website. The Arc has already begun to realize a rapid return on its DonorCommunity investment.

“In May, we’ll be holding one of our most important fundraisers, the 6th Annual Golf Tournament,” said Caseman. “Our new Website and Event Manager applications have enabled us to promote the Tournament, sell sponsorships and handle event registrations online. This is simply unprecedented.”

“We designed DonorCommunity for the tens of thousands of mid-sized nonprofits that need a more affordable and efficient way to cultivate donors, reduce their fundraising costs and streamline their operations,” said David Blyer, DonorCommunity founder and CEO. “Organizations like The Arc—and its hundreds of affiliates across the U.S. —are incredibly dedicated and resourceful. When you give them the tools, they quickly become self-sustaining. We’re proud to welcome The Arc to our community and grateful for the fine work they do to support Americans with developmental disabilities.”
