Being raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and indoctrinated in their sectarian rhetoric, author Uriyah Baraka could not accept the idea of the 144,000, which they taught – a supposedly anointed number of believers to be saved, or enter the heavenly kingdom on the Day of Reckoning. As he grew older and read the Scriptures more, it didn’t make sense to him that Yeshua (Jesus) died and arose to glorification to save just 144,000, and the rest of mankind be imprisoned in the earthly form that he came to destroy (swallow up). In The Holy Nation, Baraka reveals the truth behind the fourteenth chapter of the Book of Revelation and clarifies the true remnants of God (Elohim) and the coming forth of the Holy Nation that fulfills the true purpose of YHUH El Yisrael.

For Baraka, the truth alone (and adherence to it) will set believers free. The Holy Nation shows readers the way to the truth and the vision that Yahuah has for his people. “This work is not written to condemn, but to reveal the Holy nation of the Father Yahuah, and the message of הבשורה (the gospel; Good news) of the kingdom,” Baraka further wrote. “The Christian religion can be restored to its proper purpose in the divine scheme, but this restoration is dependent upon their denial of all ideas in the church that does not exalt the will of the Father, which is the conquest of all sin that afflicts the heart of man. The enemy is sin and death, the solution is Truth.”

Baraka is obviously well-versed in the Scriptures and it is quite apparent in the logistically written penetrating texts of The Holy Nation. Characteristically illuminating, incisive and concise in the delivery of its powerful message, this insightful exploration of the truth is at equal parts a timely and timeless piece.

The Holy Nation will be featured at the 2012 Beijing Book Fair in Beijing, China, on August 29-September 2, 2012.

About the Author
Uriyah Baraka is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He is a student of the Hebrew language, and has studied the religion of the bible for 30 years. He began his ministry in the Christian church in 1984, but left the Christian world in 1996 because its traditions were and are integrated with many materialistic and pagan ideas that he felt did not represent the gospel of Yeshua the Messiah. In 1999 he was confirmed in the Messianic Hebrew faith, and found the true idea of salvation, which is akin to the Scriptures. Uriyah Baraka in his ministry identifies the supremacist culture as satanic, and the central reason why the Christian church has fallen into moral/ spiritual decadence in the West. Uriyah Baraka is an Actor, Poet, and Playwright, and the Author of the theological work, “Mystery of the 666 Revealed”, published in 2011. He is a lecturer and teacher in the Messianic faith and is available for booking at:
