Alone we can do nothing, but together our minds fuse into something whose power is far beyond the power of its separate parts.

As a rapidly increasing number of people contribute their peace pledges, love and goodwill to the spectacular Peace Mosaic, A Course In Miracles International today announced the launch of a new website, entirely dedicated to the Peace Mosaic. The website located at http://www.peacemosaic.org, will be updated often, and aims, firstly, to inspire individual visitors to make personal pledges for peace in their lives; and secondly, to provide clear and easily accessible information about the Peace Mosaic.
The Peace Mosaic is an enormous, visually stunning, vibrantly colorful collage, comprising thousands of four-inch square pieces of card or other material on which are written, drawn, painted or glued individual pledges for peace, made by ordinary men women and children from all over the world.
The sole requirement for participation in creating the mosaic is a sincere desire for peace.
The Peace Mosaic will be presented to the global community in a special ceremony on September 21, 2012, the United Nations International Day of Peace, which auspiciously falls on the eighth day of the ten days (September 14 -23, 2012) that constitute International Forgiveness Week and Weekend of Perfect Peace.
According to Event Coordinator, Nancy Reid, “The Peace Mosaic is a beautiful way to unite everyone in the world in a single dedication to peace. Everyone is invited to participate. Alone we can do nothing, but together our minds fuse into something whose power is far beyond the power of its separate parts.”
Continued Reid, “here is a prayer from A Course In Miracles that for me, truly expresses the spirit of the Peace Mosaic: 'Peace to my mind. Let all my thoughts be still. Father, I come to You today to seek the peace that You alone can give. I come in silence. In the quiet of my heart, the deep recesses of my mind, I wait and listen for Your Voice. My Father, speak to me today. I come to hear Your Voice in silence and in certainty and love, sure You will hear my call and answer me.'"
“If you want peace," added Reid, "make a commitment to attaining it personally, and send us a written or graphic representation of your desire and commitment to peace. You do not have to be a writer, poet or artist to participate."
All the required information for participation in the Peace Mosaic can be found at http://www.peacemosaic.org
