Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Career Athletes have agreed to a national partnership. Enterprise Rent-A-Car has chosen to utilize the Career Athletes nationwide network of student-athletes to connect with top-notch talent. In addition, this partnership opens the door for Enterprise to have instant access to more than 220 university athletic departments to develop lasting relationships with their student-athletes and administrators.

Enterprise, a corporate partner and the official rent-a-car of the NCAA®, has established a proven track record of hiring former collegiate athletes as seen in their national media campaign televised during the NCAA Basketball tournaments throughout March and April.

“Enterprise will be providing tremendous opportunities to our members,” said Career Athletes CEO Chris Smith. “Their Management Training Program is one of the best in the country and will give our current and former student-athletes an amazing start to their professional careers.”

“Partnering with Career Athletes allows Enterprise to connect with its nationwide network of athletic departments and student athletes, and we look forward to very productive partnership. Our commitment to college recruitment has made us the #1 recruiter of college graduates and many former student-athletes have realized their potential and developed successful careers with us,” said Marie Artim, Vice President Talent Acquisition, Enterprise. “We see the skills that student athletes gain from their experience and know the value they can bring to our business.”

As the world’s largest rental car company, Enterprise looks for competitive, well-rounded individuals to join their team. As a management trainee, student-athletes will learn valuable business skills such as managing profit and loss statements, marketing and customer service. In 2011, Enterprise hired more than 8,000 college graduates and was named by both Diversity Employers magazine and CollegeGrad.com as the top entry-level employer in the United States.

“Any current or former athlete looking for a solid foundation should connect with Enterprise,” said Smith. “This opportunity can open so many doors for their futures in a variety of fields.”
