HPS Expands Senior Management Team

HPS announces the addition of three new members to its senior management team.

Bud Brooks, Karen Dillard, and Vic Panza have all joined HPS as regional Vice Presidents of Business Development.

Bud Brooks, VP-Business Development - Midwest, West and Northwest Regions:
Bud Brooks has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Much of his work has involved providing outsourced solutions to payers on ways of improving exposure to medical and administrative costs, a significant portion of that with Concentra Network Services. He has experience working with provider groups and hospitals, PPO networks, managed care programs, and workers’ compensation networks. Mr. Brooks was recently involved in a medical device start-up company bringing mobile health technology into the provider setting. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Brooks has a BS from Brown University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and resides in Dallas, TX.

Karen Dillard, Vice President of Business Development - Southeast Region:
Karen has 25 years of healthcare experience and began her career in Medical Records moving her way into practice management for physician practices. Karen has spent the last 12 years helping hospitals improve revenue cycle processes and identifying efficiency and expertise in reimbursement matters while maintaining customer centricity in all initiatives and interactions, always putting the customer first. Karen has been a member of HFMA for twelve years and currently serves as PFS Program Chair for the Alabama Chapter, Co-Chair for the Georgia Chapter, and serves on the education committee for North and South Carolina Chapters. Karen lives in Alexander City, Alabama.

Victor Panza, Vice President Business Development - Northeast and Great Lakes Regions:
Victor has over 35 years of healthcare experience. This includes extensive experience within the diagnostic radiology sector in both capital equipment sales management, and more significantly in the area of radiology benefit management. Mr. Panza was engaged as a founder and senior manager with National Imaging Associates, Inc., one of the leading radiology benefit management firms in the country, and most recently, lead a new business unit for Nuance Communications which marketed clinical decision support software for management of diagnostic imaging procedures. In these positions, he worked extensively with both healthcare payers and provider organizations. Mr. Panza graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and resides in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.
