Carcraft has been awarded an accreditation from industry body, the RAC.
The accolade was awarded following a series of comprehensive checks1 at all of Carcraft’s Service Centres which included RAC engineers assessing all of the services available and the quality of the work.
In addition, officials also conduct road tests on a random selection of vehicles to ensure they reflect the standard expected by the RAC prior to sale.
This award comes as the used car company continues to improve its after-sales offering, with improvements to its industry leading “Drive Happy” guarantee. The package now includes RAC Home Start and Accident Care, in addition to RAC Roadside Assistance, one year parts and labour guarantee and free servicing in the first year after purchase2.
Julia Dallimore, head of marketing at Carcraft, explains:
“Working with the RAC marks the next step in our continued efforts to instill confidence in the used car industry. Over the last 18 months, Carcraft has continued to address our customer’s concerns and provide them with peace of mind before and after the purchase, through our 120 point check and industry leading guarantee.
“This third party recognition provides external validation of the continued work the business is undertaking in order to deliver a quality service to all our customers.”
Alan Kennedy at the RAC added:
“Our accreditation system is designed to reassure consumers considering buying a used car. Carcraft’s consistently high ratings across all of its sites demonstrate the importance the company places on quality, which, coupled with its impressive guarantee package, ensures that consumers can purchase a used car with confidence.”
