The Nevada Supreme Court is kicking off its statewide celebration of Law Day 2012 with a live interactive webcast linking three high schools together. Glen Lerner Injury Attorneys support the Law Day Live webcast on Thursday, April 26, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. During the webcast, students will be able to discuss in detail the privacy issues of the Winnemucca, Nevada privacy case of Larry D. Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial Court.

Law Day was established by the American Bar Association. This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of courts across the nation and the role they play in helping to ensure that all American’s are provided with a place to have their grievances addressed and civil rights protected in a fair and impartial manner. Schools across the nation are participating in Law Day.

In Nevada,Law Day 2012 will go one step further by reviewing the role of courts in protecting individual rights while still allowing law enforcement and government entities to protect the citizens of Nevada. This year’s Law Day will take a closer look at a Nevada privacy case that made its way to the Supreme Court, Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial Court of Nevada. During the Law Day Live webcast, students will be able to discuss in detail the privacy issues of the Winnemucca, Nevada privacy case of Larry D. Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial Court, 542 U.S. 177 (2004).
