Greencastle, IN (PRWEB) April 26, 2012
ETA® International announces that Technology Forecaster Jim Brazell will deliver the opening keynote at the 2012 ETA Education Forum scheduled for October 15-20, 2012 in Greencastle, Indiana. The ETA Education Forum is a technical education conference for technicians and educators from around the world to investigate emerging technologies and education strategies through presentations and technical workshops led by industry and educational experts.
Brazell’s keynote will deliver an analysis on how electronics systems are at the heart of a new generation of computers and at the core of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Jim explains, “The 21st Century brought with it the birth of a 4th generation of computing where machines and motors are now tightly coupled with computers, software, and electronics. You might say we live in a robotics age.” Electronics programs are now at the heart of this emerging technology revolution.
Lisa Cervantes of VentureRAMP, Inc. explains, “Jim was one of the early public voices proclaiming the need for a Sputnik-like awakening of the public to the importance of science and technology to society, security, education, and the economy. His message is important but few people have connected the real 21st century Sputnik story with its author.” Jim’s advisor and mentor is Dr. Francis X. Kane who was recognized as the military father of the Global Positioning System on March 2, 2010 by the United States Air Force (learn more at fatherofgps.com).
