Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) April 26, 2012
Radiology news and education portal AuntMinnie.com announced today that it is partnering with AHRA and market research firm the MarkeTech Group (TMTG) on the Medical Imaging Confidence Index (MICI), an ongoing index that tracks confidence levels among radiology administrators.
The MICI survey is performed quarterly by the MarkeTech Group and queries a selection of AHRA members on their opinions and attitudes regarding several important topics that affect their practices. MICI survey participants offer their opinions on subjects ranging from reimbursement for medical imaging procedures to capital equipment purchasing plans. AuntMinnie.com will publish quarterly articles on MICI survey results.
For example, the current survey indicates that while those participating in MICI are optimistic that their department will grow as a profit center in their facility, they are far less confident that they will receive adequate reimbursement for their services. The most recent MICI survey results can be viewed by going to http://www.auntminnie.com.
"We are pleased to be participating with AHRA and the MarkeTech Group on this important barometer of the medical imaging industry's health," said Ashok Shah, general manager of AuntMinnie.com. "MICI is an important planning tool for both healthcare providers and equipment vendors regarding upcoming trends."
