The opening of gumi Asia in Singapore swiftly follows the early April opening of a gumi office in South Korea. gumi (officially with a small g) aims to swiftly enter the international online smartphone game market, and is taking action to achieve that goal. gumi Asia will be led by David Ng, former senior director of Electronic Arts Asia. David brings extensive senior level executive and entrepreneurship experience in game development, game publishing, information and online technology, and digital media distribution to the company.
