Postal Credit Union (PCU) in Minnesota will hold a free Shred event on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at its Hugo branch, 14750 Victor Hugo Blvd. North, next to Kwik Trip. This free event is intended to help prevent identity theft by shredding people’s personal documents in a safe and secure manner. Members, neighbors and guests are invited to take part.
Shred-N-Go, PCU’s document destruction service provider, will volunteer their time and trucks for the event. Participants can bring their documents to PCU’s Hugo office between 9:00 a.m. and 12 Noon, and watch them be immediately shredded. For the convenience of all participants, documents are limited to two boxes that can be carried. Coats for Kids donations will also be accepted at the event.
