The recipe contest is looking for creative camping recipes that give people more time to do what they should be doing — enjoying their free time.

Tent. Camper. RV. It doesn’t matter — when camping, people want to spend time enjoying the great outdoors, not cooking.
Potatoes are perfect for camping. They’re easy to prepare in advance or at the campground, and they’re a gluten-, fat-, cholesterol- and sodium-free nutritional powerhouse — packed with potassium, Vitamin C, fiber and only 110 calories.
The Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association (WPVGA) is looking for consumers' favorite easy-to-make Wisconsin potato gather-around-the-campfire recipes. Recipes people can prepare in advance or on the spot. Hot or cold dish — it doesn’t matter. The contest is simply collecting creative camping recipes that give people more time to do what they should be doing — enjoying their free time.
