Blondies Sports Bar & Grill has earned a 4-star rating for providing excellent customer service, winning it a prestigious 2012 CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award in the Restaurants category.
The Talk of the Town Awards, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media U.S. (CMUS), honors companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers who calculate a company’s CMUS Power Rating™. Only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
Recognized by Maxim magazine, MSN and the Las Vegas Review-Journal as one of the best sports bars in the country, Blondies opened in August 2004. Partners Craig Von Meyer and Glenn Klinker were already working together in Los Angeles when they developed the Blondies concept for the Las Vegas market.
Located in the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Blondies is a neighborhood bar in the middle of the hoopla of Las Vegas. Blondies provides customers with an awesome atmosphere, great service and delicious food. The restaurant’s motto — Have More Fun! — guides the experience for patrons. Blondies was the first to offer Beer Pong in Las Vegas and continues with the best doubles tournament on Wednesday and singles tournament on Thursday.
“We can’t make a customer have fun but we can make our employees be fun,” says Klinker. “Written on the wall at Blondies is ‘Blondies is a fun place to work because of you!’ It is a constant reminder to leave your problems at the door and have fun with your customers, co-workers and yourself.”
Klinker says the restaurant’s staff is 100 percent the reason for winning the Talk of the Town award. “If a customer likes their service, then the customer will like their food, their experience and Blondies,” he says.
Customer service is of utmost importance to the Blondies team, and the multiple awards and recognition the restaurant has received keeps the management focused on their goal and commitment to great customer service. “Our staff must first have an outgoing personality to fit in at Blondies, then they engage the customer and sometimes act like a concierge, suggesting shows and attractions throughout Las Vegas,” says Klinker.
Blondies is also dedicated to the greater community and recently earned a 2011 Community Outreach Honor for its work with The Shade Tree Foundation, MDA, Red Cross, American Heart Association, and more.
